OQ Technology signs Roaming Agreement with Deutsche Telekom for its Satellite 5G IoT Connectivity

Barcelona – 4 March, 2025 – OQ Technology, the world’s first and fastest-growing 5G NTN IoT LEO satellite operator, is a new commercial roaming partner of Deutsche Telekom, a leading German telecommunications provider to offer 5G Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) solutions worldwide. It has now been integrated into Deutsche Telekom’s network to extend its cellular coverage beyond the cell tower and serve enterprise clients in sectors such as utilities, logistics, maritime, and energy. The two companies have signed a roaming agreement so Deutsche Telekom users can roam into OQ Technology’s non-terrestrial network (NTN) globally and in the regions where OQ Technology has coverage. The two companies announced last year their partnership during MWC which is kicked off this year.

The hybrid solution guarantees reliable data transmission beyond the reach of traditional networks, facilitating asset monitoring and control and enhanced operational efficiency.
